131 years since Martha Tabram murder - was her killer Jack the Ripper?

On this day 131 years ago Whitechapel sex worker Martha Tabram was murdered.

Her killer had stabbed her 39 times.

The murder was added to the Whitechapel Murders file, which later became synonymous with Jack the Ripper.

But was Tabram an early victim of the Ripper before his modus operandi has been fully established, or was she just another victim of the brutal East End in 1888?
